All three again

North of the split there is a new hotel and beach area. We snorkeled above the reef, swam with the nurse sharks and rays went north of the split for the rest of the afternoon. We are getting ready to go out for supper. The plan is roasted pork at La Cubana.

Last night in Succotz

Our last night in Succotz we had supper with the Lucas family to celebrate Lurdis’ birthday. They are a terrific family who graciously adopted us during our stay. When we arrived home we had a new friend in the doorway. Welcome to the subtropical region!

Miss Maggie

Her classroom teacher needed to go to a different room. Miss Maggie taught a lesson on telling time and had extra time. A quick decision to read a folk tale, reinforce fiction and nonfiction, teaching some new words while modeling context clues and making predictions.
